Hello Everyone,
I have decided to leave this as an open group even tough this time round it is for a small number of us. I thought it would be nice to share with everyone our plans and who knows we might get some good advice or input from others.
As I said before I hope to organise this week of incurables once a year if this one goes well.
I think it is very important for anyone in a caring career to dedicate some time to their own healing and also this will
give a really good opportunity to us herbalists to try the intense incurables programme. Hopefully In the near future Herbal medicine and natural therapeutics will be acknowledged by the Irish and world wide governments for been great ways of healing disease, and this week will give us a chance to practice and get comfortable with how we might go about running a healing programme like this. I'm also hoping that this might encourage the possibility and planning for an Irish version of Hippocrates .
This will not be run as a profit venture, I am not hosting a retreat, costs will divided amongst participants equally. This means that no one will be working, but instead everyone will work as a team.
All suggestions, recommendations, advice and constructive criticism is very welcome.
If anyone has a therapy or talent they would like to share please let us know.
I was thinking the layout of the week would be something like this but its open to change
3 days fasting then a break on the fourth day where only raw vegan food will be served than 2 days fasting and break on the last day.
I think the first 3 days we will do kidney flushes and support this with things like an art or a creative workshop and I think sound healing would be of benefit too as there is a link with the ear and the kidneys, grounding techniques would also benefit a kidney flush.
The liver flush then would be very well accompanied by singing, dancing maybe some drumming and an evening dedicated to concentrating on what our passions in life are.
The place I have booked has a sauna and cold plunge pool which is ideal for doing hydro therapy it will be a good idea for everyone to bring along body brushes.
I think it would be important for everyone to both help apply a cold sheet treatment and experience having the therapy to get a full understanding of it, so this can be done in two groups on two separate nights. It might be a good idea if everyone brings a sleeping bag for both this and caster oil packing because it will insure that the beds don't get destroyed.
These therapies can release a lot of emotions so I would recommend journaling and dream journaling and we could do an integration as a group to discuss how things are going once or twice during the week I've done this on other retreats and found it very good.
I will be happy to share some of my other therapies during the week, We can do a soul entanglement ceremony, journeying , a reiki drum share and I know another one of the girls is trained in yoga. Any other talents are welcomed but we could also hire someone to come and facilitate something fun.
If anyone plays any music bring it along.
There is a beautiful walk to mauher sleive (mother mountain) this is an ancient pilgrim path with beautiful scenery and it will provide a great opportunity for herb foraging. walking shoes and clothes will be needed for this.
At least a month before the we get together anyone going should be taking a bowel formula and eaten a mucusless diet this will insure our bodies are prepared and able for a deep cleanse.
In order for things to go smoothly we should research and plan each therapy including what materials will be needed and all the other little ins and outs of how best to go about it. Maybe we can each decide one treatment to research and it would be good to share findings here so people can add any suggestions..
The following is a list of what needs to be looked into.
- caster oil packing
- cold sheet therapy
- positive affirmations to compliment each therapy
- chakra work and balancing
- sodium and potassium broth
- kidney flushing
- liver flushing
- possible creative classes
- ways to connect with our passion in life
- guided meditation
- uplifting songs and the words to them so we can sing along, maybe chanting
- yoga and or stretch routine
- grounding techniques
- juice fasting and the best food to break the fast with
These are all that come to mind at the moment and if people coming on the trip could choose one of the above and commit to doing the research that would be great.
We might also like to bring a selection of herbs along that would support us during the cleanse such as kidney infusion, liver herbs etc so this should be discussed Helen and David might offer some advice on this as to weather we can bring herbs for the group or if its better to each have our own.
I will bring my dehydrator, distiller, juicer, and It might be good if we had more than one of these as there will be a big group , infusion pots will be needed too if anyone else can offer to bring along these things brilliant.
We have almost a year to plan this week and if we all put a little effort in it will be an amazing experience.
Love and Light
Nikita
