    Talk on the radio about budget of 10million over 5 years which the Dr reckons will be far exceeded for weight loss drugs. Hardly a mention of dietary changes or exercise. May well be lifelong drugs says he! Shocking.

I have never heard about that, but I think it would be a good idea to look it up.
       I have tried lots of Chili peppers here and there and they can be quite brutal so perhaps there is something very special about Cayenne?  Let us know if you find anything interesting Alice..

I’m also reading that ‘chilli’ powders can be problematic for some people as they are a blend with onion garlic mustard cumin even nuts so if your friend eats ‘chilli’ and ‘chilli’ salsa and powders/ products then the reaction she has could be to any of those and not the chilli itself.     Has anyone tried adding raw rhubarb (not the leaves) to juice? I have only cooked it up until now.

    World Vegan Day today. 179 restaurants and cafes have signed up to do a vegan dish on the day. Full Irish Vegan (on instagram, Facebook and Twitter) are the group running the campaign. Lots of these places will be doing the vegan food for either rest of the week or month.

    Any thoughts on herbs for animals? General health but also avoiding worming and flea preparations. I have a dog, a cat and 3 hens.
